“I need to wake up” by Melissa Etheridge is a very interesting song. It was written for a movie called “An Inconvenient Truth” in 2006. I love Science, and i think our planet is very important for everyone of us. This song is mostly about how we are changing our planet Earth - the only place we can live. Everyday we are destroying the planet. We are the causes of global warming... more and more of the “carbon dioxide” gases are spreading everywhere of our environment. Our ozone atmosphere is very thin, it can pop up anytime. Glaciers are melting, polar bears are drowning. For now, Earth - the green planet is the only place we can live, where water forms, plants live... so why are we destroying it.
